This Thanksgiving was a really great one, full of friends and family and really, really good food. Yes, I made it and I’m totally comfortable admitting it was delicious. So, I thought, in light of how full I am today, and the fact I’m about to binge again (though this time on Gilmore Girls), that this would be a good time for a gallery post. So, here are a bunch of photos of my delicious food for your viewing pleasure.
And, to back to what I’m thankful for — my family. Always, always, always, every year my family. And this year I have more family to be thankful for, as Ethan and I are officially engaged and I am one step closer to becoming a member of the Aronson clan. I have been close with Ethan’s family for a long time now, and having both his mom and dad out here in Los Angeles when my family is all the way back east is a real blessing. They have treated me with nothing but love and kindness since the day Ethan introduced me to them and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have them. I am so, so thankful to have more family to love on this wonderful Thanksgiving day.
Now, to the food. Every year I make a brined turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin pie, apple pie, biscuits and corn. And this year was no different! I made dinner for seven, including Ethan and I and his father and some friends. It turned out great and I’m proud of myself. So let’s take a little look see at what I made. Cool? Cool. Oh and I popped in a picture of my traditional Thanksgiving morning breakfast: coffee and canned cinnamon rolls. Mmm.
